Ask ten people to explain Reincarnation and you may very well get ten different responses. Although Reincarnation is a widely held belief throughout the world there are many variables and points of disagreement among believers. According to Webster; " It is a rebirth in a new embodiment and the belief that Souls are reborn."
The practice of mixing this Doctrine with various religious tenets and concepts from a particular religion or sect can add to conclusions about Reincarnation that may not be shared with someone from another religion.
A Hindu and a Christian may both believe in Reincarnation but take an entirely different view of how it will ultimately affect them.
The same can be said for Buddhists, Sikhs, Jains and others who share this belief but with an uncommon interpretation.

Within the membership of the multitude of religious organizations, the belief in Reincarnation is the greatest of all mutually shared beliefs second only to the belief in God.
